Allgemeines
* Alle Gremien der Studierendenschaft tagen grundsätzlich öffentlich.
* Das Studierendenparlament müssen den Haushaltsplan des/der Finanzreferent/in genehmigen.

Studierendenparlament
* Das Studierendenparlament wählt den Allgemeinen Studierenden Ausschuss (AStA).
* Das Studierendenparlament wählt den Ältesten Rat. Seine Mitglieder dürfen keine anderen Ämter in der Studierendenschaft einnehmen. Der Ältesten Rat ist für Kontrolle, Schlichtung und Organisation der Wahl zuständig. Insbesondere nimmt er die Rolle der Schlichtungskommission wahr, die gemäß Artikel 2 §65a Absatz 6 des "Gesetzes zur Einführung einer Verfassten Studierendenschaft und zur Stärkung der akademischen Weiterbildung" in der Organisationssatzung der Verfassten Studierendenschaft vorzusehen ist.

Fachschaftenkonferenz
* Alle Mitglieder der Studierendenschaft, die zu einer Fakultät oder einem Fachbereich gehören, wählen einen Fachschaftsvorstand.
* Der Fachschaftsvorstand organisiert und leitet die Fachschaftsvollversammlung und Fachschaftssitzung.
* Bei der Fachschaftsvollversammlung sind alle Mitglieder der Studierendenschaft des jeweiligen Fachbereichs stimmberechtigt.
* Der Fachschaftvorstand schlägt eine/n Vertreter/in für die Fachschaftenkonferenz vor. Diese/r muss von der Fachschaftsvollversammlung gewählt werden.
* In der Fachschaftenkonferenz sitzt ein/e Vertreter/in jeder Fachschaft. Die Stimmverteilung richtet sich nach der Anzahl der immatrikulierten Studierenden einer Fachschaft.
* Die Fachschaftsvertreter/innen in der Fachschaftenkonferenz sind an die Beschlüsse der Fachschaft gebunden.
* Die Fachschaftenkonferenz wählt eine/n Präsident/in. Diese/r ist für die ordnungsgemäße Einberufung und Durchführung der Sitzungen verantwortlich. Darüber hinaus hat er/sie Antragsrecht im Studierendenparlament. Er/Sie soll an den Sitzungen des Studierendenparlaments teilnehmen.
* Die Fachschaftenkonferenz kann gegen Beschlüsse und den Haushalt des Studierendenparlaments mit absoluter Mehrheit ein Veto einlegen. Das Studierendenparlament kann ein solches Veto mit einer 2/3-Mehrheit aufheben. Das Veto der Fachschaftenkonferenz kann bei Satzungsänderungen, die
- die Einschränkung der Rechte der Fachschaftenkonferenz, insbesondere deren Auflösung,
- die Schließung einzelner Fachschaften
betreffen, nicht vom Studierendenparlament aufgehoben werden.
*Legt die FSK ein Veto gegen den Haushalt ein, so muss sie einen alternativen Vorschlag einreichen. Der alternative Vorschlag kann vom StuPa mit einer zwei drittel Mehrheit abgelehnt werden

Vollversammlungen/Urabstimmungen
* Die Urabstimmung stellt das höchste beschlussfassende Gremium der Verfassten Studierendenschaft am KIT dar.
* Die Vollversammlung stellt das zweithöchste beschlussfassende Gremium der Verfassten Studierendenschaft am KIT dar.
* Alle Mitglieder der Studierendenschaft sind bei Vollversammlungen bzw. Urabstimmungen stimmberechtigt.
