Das StuPa lehnt die Einführung von Studierfähigkeitstests ab.

Begründung: 

Ab dem Wintersemester 2011/2012 sind in Baden-Württemberg sog. Studierfähigkeitstests für alle zulassungsbeschränkten Studiengänge vorgeschrieben. Dies ist aus mehreren Gründen abzulehnen:

  1. Die Tests dürfen kein Wissen abfragen, dass im Abitur erworben wurde. Das mag für Fächer, die es am Gymnasium nicht gibt eine Möglichkeit sein, Vorkenntnisse für das Fach abzufragen, aber gerade für Fächer die an der Schule gelehrt werden erschwert es die Erstellung des Tests ungemein und stellt deren Sinnhaftigkeit in Frage.
  2. Die Tests kosten Geld. Insbesondere gute Tests, die (1.) berücksichtigen. Dieses Geld wird entweder von den Universitäten getragen und steht ihnen so nicht mehr zur Verfügung um bessere Lehre anzubieten, oder muss vom Bewerber getragen werden, wodurch schon vor seinem Studium (und vor seiner sicheren Einschreibung) teils hohe Gebühren auf ihn zukommen (Beispiel Mannheim: 200€).
  3. Auch ein kostenfreier Test sorgt für kosten beim Studierenden. Ein schriftlicher Test erfordert es, am Hochschulstandort anwesend zu sein. Je nach Wohnort kann dies eine längere, kostenintensive Reise mit Übernachtung mit sich ziehen. Dies stellt eine Hürde für Studienanfänger dar.
  4. Die Tests sind sinnlos. Mit der Zulassung zum Studium und der Senkung der Abbrecherquoten befassen sich viele Studien. Bisher ist keine gute Möglichkeit bekannt, vorauszusagen ob ein Bewerber sein Studium erfolgreich beendet oder nicht. Trotzdem existieren bessere und schlechtere Möglichkeiten auf denen man diese Voraussage trifft. Die beste bekannte stellt die Abitursnote dar. Sowohl Tests, als auch Auswahlgespräche eignen sich deutlich schlechter. Mit der Einführung der Studierfähigkeitstests wird das beste Mittel den Studienerfolg vorauszusagen, und damit eine evtl. sinnvollere Auswahl zu treffen über Bord geworfen und durch ein deutlich schlechteres ersetzt.
