For borderless printing, please add a 3 mm bleed margin to each edge (e.g., DIN A6 final format = 105x148 mm², required artwork size = 111x154 mm²).

Note regarding folded flyers: Solid backgrounds are recommended and text/motifs should be placed sufficiently far from the folding line (at least 1 cm) to account for slight printing offsets.

Textile Printing Options

Before ordering textile printing, please read through the process described on our website.

Because textile prints are usually highly custom, please discuss your plans at least 2 to 4 weeks prior to the desired printing date with the print shop management: Please email the management.
Textile printing is not possible with a lead time of less than 2 weeks.

Important details required for textile printing include:

  • Total number of textiles to print (flat fee €0.50/piece)
  • Bring your own textiles or order through us (5% service fee)
  • Printing material: Flex (smooth, slightly glossy, €0.15/cm) or Flock (velvety-soft, €0.20/cm).
  • Print color (black and white usually in stock, other colors might need to be ordered).
  • Self-press (free of charge) or pressed by staff (€2 per 5 min). Flat fee €30 for machine setup.
  • Desired printing date (must occur shortly after weeding)
Textiles

We source textiles exclusively via Textilgrosshandel.eu; you can choose the items you want us to order here: https://www.textil-grosshandel.eu/

A service fee of 5% applies to each textile order placed through the AStA print shop.

Please ensure that selected textiles are iron-resistant (check the care label), ideally 100% cotton or another heat-resistant fabric that can withstand the heat press.

Please provide the following details in the "Models & Textiles" field:

  • Links to chosen models on Textilgrosshandel.eu with desired colors
  • Quantities for each size

For example:

Printing material
Weeding the motifs should be done as close as possible to the printing date, since the film adhesive degrades over time.
