Price lists of the AStA print shop at KIT

Printing & copying and printing of theses

Print prices per A4 page (Note: not per sheet!) at the AStA print shop (flat rates)

Minimum order value €1, i.e. for smaller orders a flat fee of €1 is charged.
For color printing, the flat color price applies, even if black-and-white pages are included.

Mixed printing per A4 page at the AStA print shop (billed page by page)

For mixed printing, billing is done page by page, i.e. the black-and-white price is charged for black-and-white pages and the color price for the proportion of color pages. No distinction is made between single-sided and double-sided printing when billing mixed printing.

Business cards

Business card prices

The total cost consists of prepress, printing costs and trimming. Production time is up to 3 working days, depending on the size of the order and current workload. Business cards must not have a margin, i.e. no motifs/elements may be placed at the edge. The print file is 54x85 mm².

Flyers

Flyer prices A6

The total cost consists of prepress & trimming and printing costs. Production time is up to 3 working days, depending on the size of the order and current workload. The print data must be provided with a 3 mm bleed all around, i.e. the file for an A6 flyer must be 154 x 111 mm².
Different prices apply for flyers in formats other than A6. A cost estimate can be requested either directly on site at the print shop or from the print shop management at druckereileitung@asta-kit.de.

Postcards

Color coding: 4/1 = color and black-and-white, 4/4 double-sided color

The total cost consists of prepress & trimming and printing costs. Production time is 1-2 working days. The print data must be provided with a 3 mm bleed all around, i.e. the file for a postcard must be 154 x 111 mm².

Posters & large-format posters

Prices for posters & large-format posters

The total cost for posters consists of prepress & trimming and printing costs. Production time is 1-2 working days.
The print data must be provided with a 3 mm bleed all around, i.e. the file for an A3 poster must then be 426 x 303 mm².
For 2xA3 posters, the upper and the lower half of the poster are each printed on A3, i.e. they must be joined together when hanging.
Posters are printed with a white border, which we can trim off.

Brochures

The total number of brochure pages must be divisible by 4!
The price list refers to every 4 brochure pages (inner section).
For A4, A3 sheets are used, and for A5, A4 sheets are used, from which the prices are derived.

The total cost for brochures consists of prepress & trimming, stapling costs and printing costs. Production time is usually 3-4 working days, depending on the size of the order.

Textile printing

Textile printing prices

The total cost consists of the items listed above. In the most favorable case, these are prepress & machine setup, flex/flock material and the production of the textiles. Customers can take on the simple but sometimes time-consuming tasks themselves. If our staff carry out the work, the processing time is billed accurately in 5-minute increments.

All prices include the applicable value-added tax. The prices do not include packaging and shipping costs, but are pickup prices.
